I have known Ray for so long... since starting elementary school... and although I haven't seen him in my adult life we kept in touch for some time on Facebook where I could tell he was still just as nice a person as the boy and young man I remember from so many years ago.

I think he was a friend to all who knew him.  He was funny and kind to everyone and had a wonderful sense of humor.. he could laugh at your foolisness as well as at himself without a trace of ridicule and was sincerely interested in others and in being a truly good friend.

Even though I haven't actually been able to spend any time talking to you face to face for far too long, I will still miss your comments Ray... but as you know I believe that you have gone to Heaven to wait there for those who will follow you there... I pray I will be found among them and that we will all celebrate our new glorious lives together once and for all !!

But most of all Ray,  I thank you for being such a dear friend... and such a splendidly admirable human being.
.
I send my heartfelt sympathy and support to your very many loved ones whom I know will miss you so very deeply... and I pray God will comfort them and help them as they go on without you by their sides.

You were a shining light Ray.... and your light will live on in them I am sure !!

Farewell my friend... until we meet again !!

with sincere affection
Marilyn
