Constance “Connie” Zane, 61, of Vernon, died Saturday, May 8, 2004, at St. Francis Hospital, with her family at her side.
Born January 20, 1943, in Manchester, the daughter of Harriet (Muldoon) Risley of
Vernon, and the late Horace Risley, she resided in Vernon most of her life.
Besides her mother; she is survived by a son, Stephen Zane III and Sharie Matthews of
Maryville, Tenn.; her daughters and their husbands, Deborah L. Sobko of Monroe, Ill. Jacqueline A. and Mark Koss of Colchester; Jody M. and Kenneth McManus of Hebron; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Claire Risley of West Moreland, N.H; a sister and brother-in-law, Judith and Gary Boland of North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Jaimie, Brittany, Cody, Nicholas, Amanda, Samantha, and Nicolle; several nieces and nephews; and friends.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 12, at 10 a.m. in the Vernon United Methodist Church, 401 Hartford Tpke., Vernon. Burial will be private.
Relatives and friends may call at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
