Jonathan T. Hewey, beloved husband and soul mate of Linda, passed into eternal life on Thurs­day, (December 8, 2005). Born in Springfield, MA on November 28, 1943, his family moved to Man­chester in 1951. Jonathan leaves behind his wife and three chil­dren, Scott, Stevan and Noelle and five treasured grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Hewey; two brothers, Robin and Todd; and sister, Mar­yellen. He also leaves behind many loving and supportive friends. A Manchester High School teacher for 37 years he leaves behind colleagues and stu­dents who were dear to him. His family wishes to thank the doc­tors, nurses and medical staff of Hartford Hospital for their excel­lent care. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 13th from 4-7 p.m. at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester. There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, Dec. 14th at 11 a.m. at South United Methodist Church, 1226 Main St., Manches­ter. All are welcome to come cele­brate Jonathan’s life.
