Carol Ellen (Friday) Spinali, 63, of Middletown, beloved wife of Guiseppe "Joseph" Spinali, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2007, at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Manchester, April 2, 1943, the daughter of the late Helen (McGlynn) Lyons and the late Robert Friday Sr. Carol lived most of her life in Middletown and worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 29 years. She loved to travel extensively with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph; her daughter, Joanne and son-in-law, Natale DiMauro of Middletown; her son, Joseph and daughter-in-law, Danielle Spinali, of Middletown; she also leaves her four grandchildren, Ciara, Shannon, Anthony, and Alayna; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jane Friday of Uncasville; and many nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, and cousins.

Her beautiful smile, right until the end, will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Pius X Church. Burial will be in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middlefield.

Her family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home.
