Richard F. Eberle, 73, of Coventry, beloved husband of Susan (Baxter) Eberle, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Richard was born in Glen Ridge, NJ to the late Fred and Margaret (Klein) Eberle on November 12, 1943. Richard left New Jersey at age seven and has been a lifelong Coventry resident ever since. He was a life member of North Coventry Volunteer Fire department. He was a hard worker who never complained. Richard worked with the State of CT DOT and would take week long vacations to work at Hytone Farm with the Peracchio family. He loved yardwork and working on his own garden as well. He loved his family and made many memories camping with them as his children were growing up. He was a practical joker and enjoyed playing jokes on his family whenever he could. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Susan Eberle; his son Matthew Eberle of Columbia, CT; his daughters Stacey Allen and her husband Tye of Ashford, CT, Megan Yanez and her husband Leo of Coventry, Jessica White of Coventry; his grandchildren Colby, Ben, Madisen, and Mason. Calling hours are being held on Sunday, March 26 at 551 Talcottville Road (Route 83), Vernon, from 12 2 pm concluding with a service in the funeral home at 2 pm.
