BARBER, Louis Charles Louis "Lou" Barber died peacefully at his home in Naples, FL on Wednesday (June 14, 2006). Lou was predeceased by his parents Louis and Althea Barber. Born in Manchester on June 11, 1943, he moved to Naples in 1986. His service in the U.S. Army included a tour in Vietnam in 1965-66. He is survived by his wife, Dawn (Hudak) Barber; his children, Diane and David Clokey of Tolland and Michael and Kellie Barber of Manchester; his grandchildren, Andrew, Brian, and Sara Clokey and Cody and Tyler Barber; his brother and sister-in-law, Ralph "Skip" and Janis Barber of Manchester; his sister, Marilyn Barber of East Hartford; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ted and Lauri Fiala of Fort Myers, FL; and many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at the American Legion Hardee Mills Post 135 in Naples. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
