James Vaiciulis

James Vaiciulis, 74, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017. He was born in Fitchburg, MA, son of the late Leo and Gertrude (Poplis) Vaiciulis. Jimmy retired from the Local #15 as an iron worker. He was a member of the West Stafford Fire Department, and enjoyed being outdoors, especially cutting wood. Above all, he loved his family and cherished the time he was able to spend with them. Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Linda (Vassau) Vaiciulis; two children, Karen Vaiciulis and her partner Arthur Houle, and James M. Vaiciulis and his wife Colleen; four grandchildren, Taylor, Nathan, Annie, and James; three siblings, Barbara Mercier and her husband Bob, Eileen Vaiciulis, and Andrew Vaiciulis; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter, Christine Vaiciulis. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
