Dalton - Howard S. Turkington Jr., of 186 Center St., Manchester, Conn., died yesterday at Children's Hospital, Boston, after a long illness.  He was the husband of the former Katherine Murray, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Murray of 22 David St. here.

Besides his wife, he leaves his parents and a sister.

If friends desire, donations may be made to the Children's Hospital in his memory.

The funeral will be held from the Holmes Funeral Home, Manchester, Conn.
