Mrs. Elizabeth Rowley Marchisa, 21, of 62 Clinton St., wife of Frank Marchisa, died suddenly yesterday at her home.  Dr. John Prignano, assistant medical examiner, was quoted by police as saying that death was caused by natural causes.

She was found lyimg unconscious on the kitchen floor by her husband when he came home for dinner.  Their five-month old daughter, Christine Ann Marchisa, was crying nearby in a bassinet.  Police and an ambulance were called.  They tried unsuccessfully to revive her with oxygen, but she was pronounced dead on arrival at Manchester Memorial Hospital. 

Born May 27, 1943 in Waterbury, she had lived in the Manchester-East Hartford area most of her life.  She was a communicabnt of St. James' Church.

Besides her husband and daughter, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Herbert S. Rowley Jr. of Manchester; a brother, Herbert S. Rowley III of Manchester; and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Herbert S. Rowley Sr. of Waterbury.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., with a Mass of requiem at St. James' Church at 9:30.  Burial will be in St. James' Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.
