Dwight B. McQuade passed away suddenly on May 3, 2024, in Sedona AZ. Dwight was born in Hartford CT on December 1, 1943 to Burton J. McQuade and Emily (Kaiser) McQuade. He was raised in Manchester CT. Dwight graduated from Manchester High School in 1961 and was a proud graduate of the first class of Manchester Community College (1965). Dwight spent his entire career in the financial service and rental industries moving to Lenexa KS to own and manage his own business. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. In Kansas, he surrounded himself with family and friends enjoying theater, travel, cookouts, block parties, bowling and the Kansa City Chiefs. He brought joy to all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Dwight was predeceased by his wives Phyllis (Hence) McQuade and Dolores (Diehl) McQuade. He leaves behind his brother David McQuade of Vernon CT and his beloved daughters, Michelle Robbins and her husband Mark of Middlesboro KY, Jennifer McQuown and her husband Jeremy of Lenexa KS and Melanie McStanton and her husband Jim of Olathe KS, in addition to numerous grandchildren.

A memorial celebration of Dwight’s life will be planned at a later date.
