Martin B. Goodstine died Sunday, (April 18, 2004) after a prolonged illness. Survived by his wife, Sylvia; son, Jeffrey; granddaughter, Avery; sister, Dr. Lynette Goodstine; brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Susan; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Goodstine was a retired Vice President of Mellon Bank, Pittsburgh, PA. He attended Stevens Institute of Technology, graduated from the University of Hartford and received his Masters of Economics from Trinity College. Funeral services and interment were held in Rochester, NY. A great friend my entire life, from Hamlin St. (Nathan Hale Elementery School) to High School and throughout our adult life until his death. We shared a great love of automobiles from our trips to the CAN-AM races in the 60s, updates on the phone about our various new "wheels" and always seemed to pick up just where we left off no matter how long it had been since our last talk.Dave Sibrinsz
