Nancy (Gilman) "Meamer" Logan, 61, of Manchester, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, entered the Gates of Heaven, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday (March 16, 2003). Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Donald J. Logan; two sons, Donald J. Logan, Jr. and his wife, Lisa of Vernon, Stephen M. Logan and his wife, Karen of Ellington; five grandchildren, Kyle, Lauryn, Ethan, Alex and Sydney; a brother, William Gilman and his wife, Gertrude of Rocky Hill; two sisters, Judith Palmberg and her husband, William of Staffordville, Carole Trombley and her husband, Raymond of South Glastonbury; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and a very special aunt, Betsy Wilkins of Killington, VT. Nancy was born on February 21, 1942, in New Britain, daughter of the late Lillian Gilman and had resided in Manchester for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had been a circuit board tester employed at TYCO Ltd. for more than 15 years. She was a parishioner of St. James Church. She enjoyed spending time with her loving grandchildren and also enjoyed gardening and going to craft shows. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 19, 10 a.m. at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
