Michael E. Einsiedel Sr., 68, of Ellington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011.

He was brought up in Unionville. He was the son of the late Edward Einsiedel and Anna Einsiedel/ Verge. He is survived by his wife, Nydia, and their children, Mark and wife, Becky, Marie, Kati, and Francess. He played a special role in the lives of his grandchildren, Josh, Anna, and Sam. He is also survived by his children, Michael Jr., Peter, David, and their families. Michael had many more special people in his family whom he loved greatly. He was an avid photographer, capturing many great memories. His passion for his family was like no other. The joy he felt from being with his family was his greatest gift. He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard Church, 25 Saint Bernard's Terrace, Rockville, CT 06066, telephone, 860-875-0753.
