CZARNOTA, Edward M. Edward M. Czarnota, 65, of Manchester, passed away Sunday, (March 29, 2009) beloved son of the late Adolph and Anne (Zamulka) Czarnota. Edward was born in Hartford, June 26, 1943 and had resided in Manchester for most of his life. He was a retired machinist, having worked for various companies and was a member of Manchester Lodge No. 73 A.F. & A.M. He served his country, with the U. S. Army 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles. Edward is survived by a son, Scott Czarnota; and his wife, Debbie; and a granddaughter, Nicole of Westbrook; a daughter, Darcy Grimes and her husband, Danny of Meriden; two sisters, Deborah Anderson and her husband, Bruce of Westbrook and their daughters, Ingrid Anderson and her partner, Michael Littlejohn of Sydney, Australia and Allegra Anderson of Boston, MA; and Judith Shaw and her husband, Robert and their daughter and son, Kimberly Hayward and Dirk Shaw of Tasmania, Australia. He is also survived by many friends including, Bill Freeman. Funeral Services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to, CT. Linda Tenney (Archambault)

I never got to know the real Eddie as probably some of you did. But whenever he would see me in the hallway, I would hear "hey, inch". That was his nickname for me.
Just "inch". It was pretty funny. He was a fun-loving guy. I am sorry to learn of his passing.
