James V. Collier, 60, of Sun City Center, Fla., formerly of Vernon, died Sunday afternoon, Dec. 1, 2002, at LifePath Hospice, Sun City Center.
He was born Feb. 3, 1942, in Hartford. He attended Manchester High School and was formerly employed by Colt Firearms of West Hartford for 25 years.
He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Tracy and Thomas Kelly of South Windsor; and his three grandchildren, Ryan, Cameron, and Miread. He also is survived by his sister and brother- in-law, Barbara and Edward Custer of Florida; and brother, Theodore Collier of Missouri; nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Zipperer's Funeral Chapel, Ruskin, Ha., has care of the arrangements. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
