George Buck

 George P. Buck, husband of Donna (Wells) Buck died Sunday (Oct. 11, 1998) at Manchester Memorial Hospital,  Born Oct. 29, 1943 in Hartford; son of Gordon and Cecelia (Noonan) Buck of Manchester, he had been a resident of Coven­try since 1989. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Man­chester High School, Class of 1961. Mr. Buck was formerly employed by the J.J. Nissen Baking Company of Wallingford, and was a former mem­ber of the Sports Car Club of America. Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jamie Buck of Kear­sarge, NH; a daughter, Susan Buck of Middletown; two sisters and a broth­er-in-law, Nancy and Bruce Catanzaro of New Britain, and Mary V. Buck of  Los Angeles, CA;  three grandchildren, Katie, Nicole and Scott; his mother-in-law, Lynne F. Wells of Vernon and several nieces and nephews.  A memorial service will be Thursday, Oct .15, 10 a.m., at the United, Congrega­tional Church of Tolland, 45 Tolland Green. Burial will follow in South Cemetery, Tolland.
