Joyce C. Chalifoux, 67, of Manchester, died on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Crestfield Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Joyce was born in Hartford, the daughter of the late James Bowen and Louise (Hohmuth) Bowen of Manchester, and had lived in Manchester since 1958. She formerly worked at the old Connecticut Bank and Trust Co.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Nicole Chalifoux of Manchester; her daughter and son-in-law, Denise Longo and Christopher of Cheshire; nine grandchildren; her sister, Linda Emerson of Manchester; and her brother, Robert Bowen of Weddington, N.C.; and her former husband, Denis J. Chalifoux of Manchester. Joyce was also predeceased by her brother, James Bowen.

Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 4.
